Audax 2023

Sunday 27th August 2023

Over the past ten years the TG Challenge has grown from about 50 riders to well over 500. Over that period of time the requirements on running the event seem to have grown almost exponentially. The enforced cancellation of last year's event has pushed us towards a re-think and so we are stripping things right down to the proper basics of people riding their bikes, having fun, and raising a bit of cash for charity.

Our event for 2023 will be run as an Audax. ie no timing chips, no bureaucracy, no refreshments, no signage, no marshals, no dependency on a big car park etc etc. Just a GPX route, the Warwickshire countryside, a limited number of riders, and lot of fun.

Entered riders will sign-on at Dynamic Rides in Hockley Heath on the morning of Sunday 27th August to collect their brevet card, ride the route and collect signatures at control points or answer a couple of questions en-route, then sign-out back at Dynamic Rides.

We support Cyclists Fighting Cancer.  A great UK-wide charity based in Stratford-on-Avon who support children and young people with cancer by providing them with new lightweight bikes and specially adapted trikes to help in their rehabilitation.
